Maintains responsibility for executing receiving and merchandising standards and overseeing the productivity and teamwork of Associates. Promotes a pleasant shopping experience by interacting with customers and keeping the store orderly and clean.Demonstrates superior customer service for others to emulate.

• Developing a beneficial experience for clients within and outside the company is important
• Upholds a standard of truthfulness and moral principles, protects the confidentiality of privileged data
• Facilitates the delivery of trucks, with a key focus on efficiently arranging and transferring merchandise onto the sales floor
• Offers training sessions to Associates to educate them on the recognized principles of merchandising and processing
• Validates that items are adequately tagged, hung, fastened, and coded according to established guidelines
• Works closely with the on-duty coordinator to enhance the efficiency of transferring items to the sales area
• Ensures that team members accomplish tasks and endeavors according to the store's strategy, reorganizing priorities when essential
• Oversees the productivity levels of the team members and offers coaching support as necessary
• Structures and rotates inventory in the backroom to facilitate easy restocking
• Sustains and embodies the principles of merchandising philosophy and signage norms
• Upkeeps the backroom's organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards as required by the organization
• Verifies compliance with recycling policies and, if applicable, guidelines for hazardous waste disposal
• Establishes and communicates priorities effectively with both management and Associates and follows up with regular updates on the status of tasks
• Offers recognition and is receptive to constructive feedback
• Partnering with management to determine and meet the training demands of associates to enhance their productivity
• Guarantees that all rules regarding labor are adhered to accordingly
• Backs the implementation of credit and patronage rewards
• Promotes and engages in store shrink reduction objectives and programs
• Emphasizes the importance of safety awareness and ensures a safe space is upheld
• Functions as instructed

Qualification of Merchandising Inventory Coordinator:

• Having the capacity to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
• Excellent communication and organizational talents with a meticulous approach
• Capable of multi-tasking
• Proficient in responding suitably to shifts in direction or unforeseen situations
• Collaborating effectively with colleagues and bosses is a crucial skill in the workplace
• Can manage the lifting of heavy objects with or without suitable aid
• Well-equipped to guide and coach individuals
• A 12-month background in the retail field, including a six-month stint in a leadership capacity
