Job Description of Loss Prevention Representative:

Completes the daily tasks required for Store Loss Prevention and safety programs. Maintains positive relationships with Store Management. Conducts apprehensions within established policies and guidelines. Communicates with store Associates on damage and shrink initiatives. Identifies and resolves internal and external theft.
- Complies with the approved guidelines and policies related to deterring and managing shoplifters
- Ensures customers receive prompt, friendly, and insightful service
- Fosters an ethos that values openness and uprightness; ensures discretion is upheld
- Keeps an eye out for, comprehends, and hinders any fraudulent activities initiated by external entities
- Participates in probes and supervision as instructed
- Makes certain that apprehensions reflect the theft behavior typically seen in the store
- Timely and accurate completion and dissemination of paperwork
- Maintains pertinent evidence, indicates comprehension of law enforcement procedures, and participates professionally in lawful actions as required (e.g., attending to police calls, etc.)
- Partner with Store Management to organize and finish tasks associated with shrinking merchandise
- Adheres strictly to all labor laws, company policies, and operational procedures
- Endorses and joins in efforts to reach store shrinkage reduction targets and activities
- Advocates for the active engagement of employees in accessing shrink reduction resources
- Advocates for raising awareness about safety and backing the preservation of a safe environment
Qualification of Loss Prevention Representative:
- Exceptional communication capabilities and thoughtful decision-making
- Basic computer skills
- Foundational principles for organizing and prioritizing tasks
- The application of investigative aptitude refers to the skill of probing and researching in a thorough and systematic manner
- Proficiency in responding effectively to variations in trajectory or unforeseen incidents
- Distinguished employee known for their ability to work harmoniously with peers and leaders in order to meet goals
- Have the ability to be adaptable with working hours to assist in meeting business demands
- Retail or security experience ranging from 0 to 2 years
