Job Summary of Retail Assistant :

The Retail Assistant is responsible for assisting Management in cultivating a customer-centric sales culture that prioritizes interactions and products, with the fundamental values and principles of the company driving store operations. This includes a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences and maximizing profitability. Responsibilities of Retail Assistant :

• Attains corporate sales objectives by applying sales tactics and imparting product knowledge to customers; suggests appropriate merchandise choices or assists in locating items based on customer requirements.
• Maintains awareness of current sales and promotions, while also upholding established pricing and visual standards.
• Maintains criteria for managing merchandise, presenting it effectively, preventing losses, and fulfilling any other duties as instructed by Management.
• Participates in visual directives including monthly store sets and zone maintenance.
• Acts as a role model in embracing and advocating for the principles and standards of the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS), promoting a unified experience across all channels.
• Commits to prompt handling and resolution of customer concerns.
• Stays updated on payment regulations, coupon policies, return procedures, security protocols, and other operational guidelines to provide a speedy and effective checkout experience.
• Solidifies buying decisions during the checkout process and achieves supplementary milestones such as gift card promotions.
• Registers customers for a program that offers perks.
• Maintaining a solid customer base through clienteling efforts and personalized wardrobe styling assistance.
• Has a grasp on the current selection of product fits and styles available, whether in-store or online.
• Keeps up with regular client updates through the effective utilization of a customer book.
• Plays a role in replenishing supplies to maintain a fully stocked store.
• Supports in locating satisfaction.
• Aids in carrying out visual directives by arranging floor sets, updating window displays, creating visual presentations, and positioning signage as directed.
• Aid in organizing and keeping the boutique neat and clean
• Advocates for an inclusive, cooperative approach to addressing problems.
• Pursues chances for self-development and readily seeks constructive criticism.

Qualification of Retail Assistant:

• Fulfilling the criteria for a High School diploma or its substitute
• It is advantageous to have experience in retail or sales
• To participate, one needs to have passed the age of 17
• Excellent communication skills
• Superior customer service expertise
• Efficient in acquiring or assimilating the technological tools offered by the company
• Shows exceptional organizational skills and the capability to multitask proficiently in a high-energy setting
• Competent in exchanging information with customers, colleagues, and management
• Candidates must showcase a strong attention to detail in all tasks to ensure accuracy and precision in their work. Paying close attention to specifics and maintaining high standards is essential for success in this role

Physical Requirements of Retail Assistant:

• Constant Walking/Standing- 67-100% of 8-hour shift
• Occasional Lifting up to 50 lbs.- 1-33% of 8-hour shift
• Frequent Climbing- 34%-66% of 8-hour shift
