The Lead Sales Associate is tasked with aiding Management in advancing a sales-focused environment that prioritizes customers and products, with a key focus on integrating our values and guiding principles into all store operations, to achieve exceptional customer service and increased profitability. Responsibilities of Lead Sales Associate:

  • Setting and maintaining transparent expectations for the store team, along with personal accountability to meet brand, operational, and behavior standards.
  • Directs and supervises key operational activities like the initiation and conclusion of duties, as well as overseeing merchandise flow.
  • Managing staff responsible for sales, receiving inventory, reconciling cash transactions, and assisting customers. Implementing weekly schedules to ensure sufficient floor staff coverage within financial limits. Keeping informed about ongoing sales and promotions; arranging merchandise displays as per current promotions and guidelines.
  • Ensures compliance with regulations in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other tasks per Management's directives.
  • Cultivates a culture of high performance to inspire the sales team to meet designated sales and efficiency objectives, while also achieving personal sales performance targets.
  • The sales team must undergo thorough training and coaching to guarantee their fluency in all product knowledge, both in online and in-store settings.
  • Provides guidance and coaching to help individuals locate satisfaction and excel in sales endeavors.
  • Motivates and encourages the store staff, instigating a shared vision and exemplifying fundamental values.
  • Upholds a collective problem-solving approach that values input from all individuals involved.
  • Collaborates with store teams and leadership to effectively drive positive change.
  • Actively seeks out opportunities for self-improvement and is receptive to feedback to enhance leadership capabilities.
  • Sets an example, teaches, and raises awareness about the Top-notch Individualized Service Standards (TISS) to deliver a cohesive all-encompassing customer experience.
  • By employing different techniques and having a good grasp of product information, sales expectations are predicted, merchandise choices are recommended, and assistance is provided in locating or acquiring items to fulfill customer requirements.
  • Strengthens customer loyalty through clienteling and personalized wardrobe services.
  • Ensures immediate resolution of customer issues.
  • Maintains familiarity with the up-to-date guidelines on payments, coupon acceptance, product returns, exchange procedures, security practices, and other relevant operational aspects to ensure a speedy and effective checkout experience.
  • Supervises team efforts to maintain regular client communication through the effective utilization of the customer book, participation in loyalty programs, and increasing customer registrations.
  • Sustains, executes, and delivers follow-up services for all educational workshops, seminars, and similar programs.
  • Assists in nurturing store associates' growth; analyzes Key Performance Indicator reports and offers coaching when necessary; conveys feedback on associate performance to aid in evaluations by Store Manager.
  • Enhances motivation and collaboration among employees by recognizing and rewarding exceptional performance.
  • Supervising the Store Team to guarantee adherence to all employment practices and policies.

Qualification of Lead Sales Associate:

  • Successful completion of high school or an equivalent educational attainment is mandatory
  • Candidates with prior retail or sales management experience exceeding one year are preferred
  • Being 18 years old or older is a prerequisite for involvement
  • Effective communication skills demonstrated in speaking and writing
  • Exceptional customer service capabilities demonstrated through effective problem-solving techniques
  • Having the capacity to understand and adapt to the technology offered by the organization
  • Grasp of the administrative dimensions of store operations
  • Displays strong organizational capabilities and the agility to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced atmosphere
  • Capable of communicating efficiently with clients
  • Regular attendance is essential to this position in order to ensure adequate coverage to meet company objectives. Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays is required

Physical Requirements of Lead Sales Associate:

  • Constant Walking/Standing- 67-100% of 8-hour shift
  • Occasional Lifting up to 50 lbs.- 1-33% of 8-hour shift
  • Frequent Climbing- 34%-66% of 8-hour shift
