Responsibilities of Deputy Store Manager:
- Boost store performance by aiding sales results, controlling costs, and supervising vital duties such as product showcasing, inventory management, frontline functions, financial transactions, customer interactions, markdown strategies, employee scheduling, as well as shipping and reception, with a keen focus on minimizing losses and damages.
- Attract, recruit, and develop top talent by providing comprehensive training and ongoing growth opportunities for team members. Serve as a mentor and example, fostering a supportive environment that guarantees a positive and engaging encounter for both employees and clients.
- Design and execute action proposals for projects, targets, corporate endeavors, and adjustments in the store. Provide suggestions on succession planning to align with future needs.
- Implement approaches to achieve sales, expense, and customer service targets. Manage loss prevention and operational activities and enhance store layout and efficiency.
Qualification of Deputy Store Manager:
- Minimum of 2 years of retail leadership experience as an Assistant or Store Manager.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and empower a large team.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with ability to influence and provide effective feedback and mentorship to others.
- Proficient in store operations, customer service, merchandising, people management, health and safety, and loss prevention, with strong follow-through skills to successfully implement tasks and initiatives.
