Qualification of Retail Operations Supervisor:

  • Availability needs to be adaptable, covering evenings and weekends.
  • The competencies needed for the role must be possessed and consistently displayed.
  • Proficient in the operation of personal computers, POS systems, and different software applications, including MS Office.
  • Capability to swiftly acquire knowledge and flexibly respond to high-speed settings.
  • Skilled in engaging and communicating with diverse groups of different sizes, showcasing strong leadership qualities during discussions.
  • Skilled in independent and discreet execution of tasks, demonstrating effectiveness in demanding environments.
  • Displays an uplifting demeanor that adds to a constructive team dynamic.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • In the performance of these job responsibilities, the staff member must communicate effectively through speech and listening. The job frequently involves activities such as standing, walking, using hands for various tasks, and extending arms to reach objects. Periodically, the employee may be required to sit, climb, balance, and perform tasks that involve bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and utilizing a Brannock device.
  • Employees need to be able to lift and/or shift objects weighing 25 pounds on a regular basis and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • This job mandates specific visual capabilities including close-up viewing, long-range vision, color distinction, side viewing, and the aptitude to alter focus when necessary.
  • Anyone under the age of 18 is not permitted to take part.
  • A high school diploma or GED represents the successful completion of required coursework and assessments at the high school level
  • Candidates must possess at least 12 months of experience working in a retail environment.
  • Enhanced selling skills and a thorough grasp of various products, retail environments, and industry insights.
