Job Summary of Retail Associate:

The Retail Associate plays a key role in assisting Management to foster a sales environment centered on customers and products, prioritizing the company's principles and values in all aspects of store management. This includes enhancing the customer experience and striving for optimal profitability. Responsibilities of Retail Associate:

• Achieves company sales targets by applying sales strategies and sharing product information with customers; suggests product choices or assists in finding specific items based on customer requirements and preferences.
• Stays up-to-date on current sales and promotions while also upholding pricing and visual standards.
• Upholds guidelines in managing products, showcasing, security measures, and any other responsibilities as instructed by the supervisory team.
• Engages in visual guidelines such as monthly store displays and area upkeep.
• Demonstrates and advocates for the principles and standards of the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) by providing a seamless multi-channel experience.
• Guarantees quick and efficient handling of customer issues.
• Maintains an up-to-date understanding of payment policies, coupon acceptance, return procedures, and security measures to facilitate a speedy and effective checkout process.
• Enhances purchase choices during the final transaction and meets additional objectives such as promoting gift card purchases.
• Enrolls individuals in a loyalty program to receive benefits.
• Establishing and nurturing a loyal customer base by utilizing clienteling techniques and personalized wardrobe suggestions.
• Understands the current array of products and styles available both in physical retail locations and on the internet.
• Upholds regular communication with clients by making effective use of the customer log.
• Assists in carrying out restocking initiatives to maintain store inventory levels.
• Aids in finding satisfaction.
• Provides support with implementing visual instructions such as adjusting floor layouts, updating window displays, creating visual displays, and placing signage according to guidelines given.
• Aid in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in a boutique setting
• Encourages an integrative, cooperative method for addressing issues.
• Actively pursues chances for personal growth and easily seeks input from others.

Qualification of Retail Associate:

• Achieving a High School diploma or its equal standard
• Prior background in retail or sales is advantageous
• The individual must be at least 18 years old
• Excellent communication skills
• Exceptional abilities in providing customer service
• Capable of acquiring or adjusting to the technological tools offered by the organization
• Proficient at organizing tasks and adept at handling multiple responsibilities in a dynamic setting
• Capable of interacting with clients, colleagues, and supervisors
• Consistent attendance is crucial for this role to guarantee sufficient staffing levels to achieve organizational goals. Flexibility in working hours, such as evenings, weekends, and holidays, is mandatory

Physical Requirements of Retail Associate:

• Constant Walking/Standing- 67-100% of 8-hour shift
• Occasional Lifting up to 50 lbs.- 1-33% of 8-hour shift
• Frequent Climbing- 34%-66% of 8-hour shift
