Job Summary of Sales and Service Manager:

A Sales and Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, maximizing sales, and leading a team to achieve business goals. This role involves managing staff, inventory, financial performance, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications for Sales and Service Manager:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience in retail sales preferred.
  • Experience to perform the essential duties, responsibilities and working in the conditions described below.
  • Ability to supervise and train for the use of equipment, tools and materials listed in the Customer Service Representative (CSR) and Assistant Site Manager (ASM) job description.
  • Ability to supervise and manage the functions listed in the CSR and ASM job description.
  • Ability to use computer, or acquire those skills necessary to use a computer at the site, which includes analysis of reports, inventory control, cash control, counseling notices, etc.
  • A valid driver's license and adequate transportation to/from bank and corporate management meetings.
  • Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English. Perform other duties as assigned or delegated by his/her supervisor.

Responsibilities for Sales and Service Manager:

  • Enlist, select, and coach optimistic and passionate personnel to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Efficiently handle, supervise, and distribute responsibilities to guarantee the facility's tidiness, proper stocking, and systematic arrangement per the organization's criteria.
  • Organize employee timetables in adherence to Company standards to optimize customer experience and preserve the reputation of the establishment.
  • Foster positive and professional interactions with suppliers to strengthen business alliances.
  • Advance and safeguard a safe and constructive image in the surrounding neighborhood.
  • Establish consistent and timely written appraisals of employee performance as a part of training and development strategies, giving suitable feedback on their achievements.
  • Conduct training programs for all staff members to ensure that they adhere to Company guidelines pertaining to customer service, site aesthetics, and marketing tactics.
  • Conduct safety training sessions for every staff member to reinforce safety protocols and enhance awareness of safety concerns
  • Create approaches to secure timely and appropriate communication for all employees. Set up regular communication meetings that occur consistently with site employees and the Market Manager.
  • Analyze and formulate distinct action blueprints to cater to the site's necessities for attaining the specified aims. Arrange and uphold all site paperwork and guides systematically.
  • Manage and monitor store staff to make sure all required reports are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the effective management and supervision of store personnel to maintain well-stocked shelves, appealing product displays, and accurate pricing.
  • It is important to place all essential employment-related posters and signs in an easily accessible location for all workers.
  • Examine the everyday sales and expenditure data to make informed choices that drive sales growth and increase net profits. Create budgets and predictions for profit and loss items, and grasp the management of product margins.
  • Protect and record all funds received and distributed. Conduct any essential financial analysis needed to increase sales and net profits.

Working Conditions for Sales and Service Manager:

  • Performs approximately all work indoors but will be required to work outside in order to clean parking lots, gas pumps, take out garbage, etc.
  • Experiencing occasional cold temperature extremes is possible while supervising or managing store employees who are working in a walk-in cooler and/or freezer.
  • Encounter occasional noise while performing tasks with minimal direction and oversight.
  • Maintain effectiveness in the capacities of manager, supervisor, and leader.
