Job Description of In-Store Product Coordinator:

Tasked with enforcing receiving and merchandising guidelines and overseeing the efficient and collaborative performance of team members. Aims to provide customers with a superb shopping experience through proactive engagement and communication with each individual, and by upholding a neat and well-managed store. Serves as a model of outstanding customer service.
- Ensures a pleasant interaction for both inside and outside customers
- Upholds a standard of integrity and openness, ensuring the protection of sensitive data
- Directs the arrival of trucks, emphasizing the swift movement of items onto the sales area for customers
- Educates and coaches associates in the established standards for merchandising and processing techniques
- Confirms that merchandise is accurately tagged, hung, secured, and assigned with codes
- Engages in communication with the Duty Coordinator to optimize the transfer of goods to the retail space
- Ensures that staff members complete assignments and duties as per the store's schedule; adjusts priorities when the situation demands
- Observes the productivity of the team and provides coaching when required
- Structures and shifts back-up supplies to streamline replenishment processes
- Follows and enforces the established merchandising philosophy and signage criteria
- Keeps the backroom area in compliance with all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards
- Compliance with recycling guidelines and, when appropriate, hazardous waste schemes is being guaranteed
- Conveys information with accuracy and clarity to management and employees while establishing and managing priorities, as well as giving updates on the progress
- Presents and appreciates recognition and helpful feedback
- Engages in partnership with management to enhance the training programs for associates to boost efficiency
- Ensures that all rules and guidelines regarding labor laws, policies, and procedures are upheld
- Supports the advancement of credit and loyalty endeavors
- Engages in activities and initiatives designed to reduce store shrinkage in alignment with designated objectives and programs
- Supports awareness regarding safety and sustains a secure environment

Qualification of In-Store Product Coordinator:
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
- 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience
