Job Description of Store Maintenance Crew:

The primary duty involves upkeeping a neat and orderly store environment, especially focusing on floor upkeep. Tasks include the operation of floor cleaning equipment like scrubbers and buffers, along with performing activities such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, damp mopping, dust mopping, and cleaning glass surfaces and windows in a spotless manner. Ensures compliance with operational guidelines, merchandise requirements, and loss prevention measures. Proficient in multitasking across different store sections to meet business demands effectively.

• Upholds the set cleanliness benchmarks for floor care by overseeing the proper use and maintenance of scrubber and buffer machines
• Upholds the standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the store, including areas like the Sales Floor, Single Queue, Associate Lounge, Backroom, and Restrooms
• Ensures all Health and Safety protocols are followed as per company guidelines, including restocking essential items in designated areas like the Lounge, Restrooms, and Front End
• Skilled in multiple departments within the store, including Backroom, Front End, and Sales Floor, through cross-training
• Provides support and caters to all Front End coverage demands
• Maintains and follows the principles of the merchandising philosophy and signage standards
• Begins and takes part in store revival as necessary at various points during the day
• Adheres to all operational and loss prevention measures in alignment with company policies to mitigate losses effectively
• Demonstrates adeptness in conveying messages to leadership and colleagues in a precise manner
• Follows all stipulated labor laws, regulations, and internal policies, which specifically include adherence to protocols for meal and rest breaks for Associates
• Takes part in fostering vigilance for safety to ensure a protected environment
• Tasks beyond the usual scope are subject to assignment

Qualification of Store Maintenance Crew:

• Exceptional customer care proficiency
• Willing to adjust schedule as necessary to fulfill the requirements of the company
• Demonstrates strong organizational abilities coupled with meticulous attention to detail
• Physical strength required for carrying out cleaning responsibilities and managing floor buffer and scrubber equipment
• Capable of multi-tasking
• Skilled at adapting well to alterations in direction or surprising events
• Skilled in clear and concise communication, both orally and through writing. Shows the ability to actively engage in conversations and give appropriate feedback
• Having the capacity to handle large objects, with or without appropriate support
• Outstanding team member, excelling in interactions with peers and managers
• The retail customer experience is favored by consumers over other options
