Job Description of Administrative Assistant:

Aids in the completion of store administrative duties under the guidance of store management. Fosters a positive customer experience by actively interacting with and serving all customers, as well as keeping the store clean and well-organized. Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills as a role model.
- Improves the internal and external customer journey, ensuring a favorable experience for both sets of customers
- Fosters an environment of sincerity and ethical behavior while respecting discretion
- Involvement in the hiring process includes scheduling interviews and verifying references for new associates
- Manages Associate employee records
- Manages routine tasks associated with the cash office on a daily basis and ensures adherence to established cash office criteria
- Provides support to the Assistant Store Manager by handling scheduling, monitoring expense accounts, overseeing supply inventory, and managing requisitions
- Maintains appropriate Associate presence in service zones to promote a favorable customer service
- Provides support and attends to coverage demands in various areas of the store
- Ensures that the tasks and activities outlined in the store plan are effectively executed by the team, with flexible prioritization as required
- Efficiently conveys information to supervisors and colleagues when determining and managing tasks and provides regular updates on advancements
- Gives and receives praise and valuable critique
- Works with management to identify and meet the training needs of associates for improved effectiveness
- Ensures that all labor laws, policies, and protocols are followed accordingly
- Maintains the sales floor's organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards and plays a role in ensuring the overall tidiness of the store
- Advocates for the adoption of credit and loyalty initiatives
- Backs and actively involves in efforts to reduce shrinkage within the store
- Advocates for heightened safety consciousness while preserving a secure setting
Qualification of Administrative Assistant:
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Able to train others
- 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience
