Job Summary of Store Operations Assistant Manager:

Responsibilities of Store Operations Assistant Manager:
- Reviews sales records and key performance indicators to identify the business's necessities; Works with the Store Manager to implement retail business and sales strategies at the store.
- Clearly communicates expectations, ensuring accountability for the store team and themselves to achieve brand, performance, and behavior standards.
- Directs the budget management for both labor expenses and purchasing costs.
- Performs and oversees basic operational activities such as scheduling, target shrink audits, physical inventory, opening and closing duties, time sheet review and payroll accuracy documents, and merchandise flow processes.
- Manages financial tasks competently by adhering to regulations, encompassing cash flow control, price modifications, and merchandise operations supervision; ensures the accurate and policy-aligned completion of all register transactions.
- Confirms adherence to all applicable laws, policies for preventing losses, operational procedures, and controls; implements associate training to uphold the correct controls.
- Supervises the execution of operational processes, including managing inventory movements, ensuring optimal product levels on the sales floor, and conducting physical inventories.
- Ensures that the Brand's visual representation, order, and maintenance accurately represent its essence.
- Instills a culture of excellence in performance, motivating the sales team to achieve their set sales and efficiency goals.
- Equipping the sales team with expertise in product knowledge is essential for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Helps with locating fulfillment and improving selling techniques through hands-on support.
- Inspires and motivates the store team by creating a shared vision and exemplifying core principles.
- Backs a collective and inclusive strategy for addressing challenges.
- Collaborates with store staff and the Store Manager to promote constructive evolution.
- Is motivated to seek personal development opportunities and readily asks for feedback to strengthen leadership skills.
- Showcases, educates, and supports the Most Distinguished Client Relations (MDCR) principles and standards, providing a harmonized omni-channel support system.
- Utilizes a variety of approaches to anticipate sales targets and educate customers about product details. Recommends merchandise options or aids in locating and acquiring products based on customer needs and preferences.
- Secures timely resolution of customer grievances.
- Stays informed about operational policies including payments, coupon acceptance, returns, exchanges, security practices, and other relevant aspects to ensure a quick and efficient register experience.
- Ensures the team remains in constant contact with clients by utilizing the customer list, actively participating in loyalty programs, and promoting customer sign-up.
- Supports in assembling, recruiting, and empowering a high-performing team.
- Supports, enacts, and delivers post-training assistance for all instructional workshops, seminars, etc.
- Provides feedback and coaching to the store team for performance enhancement.
- Works alongside the senior management to promptly address human resources challenges.
- Encourages team and individual involvement by recognizing and rewarding employees for outstanding achievements.
- Guarantees that all employment practices and policies are adhered to by the store team.
Qualification of Store Operations Assistant Manager:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of retail management experience preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills
- Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company
- Proven excellent customer service skills with statistical track record in all areas of sales and leadership
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership qualities, training and team building skills
- Knowledge of administrative aspects of store operations
- Able to communicate with customers and staff
- Regular attendance is essential to this position to ensure adequate coverage to meet company objectives. Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays is required
Physical Requirement of Store Operations Assistant Manager:
- Standing or walking continually constitutes a substantial portion, between 67% and 100%, of the regular 8-hour work schedule
- Lifting weights of up to 50 lbs. is required occasionally, taking up a portion of time between 1-33% during the 8-hour shift
- Regular vertical movement - accounting for 34% to 66% within an 8-hour shift
