Job Description of Store Merchandise Organizer:

Responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards while ensuring Associates are processing efficiently and effectively, and working as a team. Ensures an excellent customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store. Role models exceptional customer service.

  • Crafting a constructive experience for customers within and outside the organization is crucial
  • Fosters a climate where honesty and uprightness are upheld, safeguards the privacy of sensitive data
  • Manages truck arrivals, placing emphasis on swiftly organizing and transferring goods to the sales area
  • Trains and guides team members in adherence to well-established merchandising and processing standards
  • Confirms that merchandise is appropriately tagged, hung up securely, and encoded for tracking purposes
  • Engages in communication with the Duty Coordinator to facilitate the smooth transfer of merchandise to the retail space
  • Guarantees that associates fulfill responsibilities and assignments based on the store's schedule, adjusting priorities as required
  • Keeps track of the team's efficiency and offers guidance when required
  • Manages and repositions stored goods to facilitate convenient restocking
  • Ensures the maintenance and consistency of merchandising ideology and signage criteria
  • Maintaining the backroom area involves adhering to specified organizational, cleanliness, and recovery protocols
  • Maintains conformity with recycling regulations and, when necessary, procedures for managing hazardous materials
  • Demonstrates precise and clear communication with supervisors and team members when establishing and managing priorities and consistently shares updates on the progress made
  • Gives recognition and welcomes constructive input
  • Working alongside management to identify and fulfill training needs for associates to improve their efficiency
  • Upholds adherence to labor legislations, guidelines, and protocols
  • Advocates for the utilization of credit and customer loyalty schemes
  • Backs and takes part in endeavors to reduce store shrinkage goals and strategies
  • Advocates for heightened safety awareness and sustains a protected atmosphere

Qualification of Store Merchandise Organizer:

  • Possessing the ability to adjust availability as needed, which may encompass nights and weekends
  • Exceptional communication and organizational aptitudes with a keen eye for detail
  • Capable of multi-tasking
