Job Description of Merchandising Department Assistant:

Opportunity for Career Advancement:

Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through engaging interactions, reflecting customer experience values, and maintaining a well-organized store. Follows operational procedures, merchandise guidelines, and loss prevention standards to uphold store security. May be trained to work across different store areas to assist with operational needs.

• Prominent figures serve as models for successful customer experience initiatives targeting both internal and external audiences
• Nurturing a culture of positivity in the store through the practice of honesty, integrity, and respect
• Rings customer purchases and handles returns by strictly adhering to operational procedures, including counting and returning change accurately
• Bolsters credit and loyalty strategies
• Upholds the merchandising philosophy and follows the prescribed merchandising procedures and standards in place
• Demonstrates proficiency in processing and preparing merchandise for retail sales following company protocols and standards
• Participates in store reclamation throughout the day as needed
• Contributes to the adherence of organizational and cleanliness standards on the sales floor, while also assisting in upholding the store's overall maintenance
• Offers and welcomes appreciation and insightful feedback
• Complies with all labor rules, policies, and protocols
• Endorses and actively participates in store shrink reduction goals and initiatives
• Actively involved in promoting safety consciousness and managing a safe environment
• Duties as delegated
