Responsibilities for Restaurant General Manager:

  • Supervise the operational functions of the restaurant each day, including tasks such as opening and closing procedures, cash control, inventory supervision, and adherence to brand standards.
  • Encourage exceptional customer service by fostering a friendly and guest-focused ambiance.
  • Model the way by upholding professionalism, a strong commitment to work, and a steadfast alignment with company values.
  • Source, appoint, educate, and monitor team members, spanning Shift Leaders, Supervisors, and Crew Members.

  • Launch training schemes focused on elevating team capabilities and evolution.
  • Comply with health and safety requirements, food handling guidelines, and sanitation protocols to maintain standards.
  • Review guest reviews and implement strategies to elevate guest satisfaction and enhance service quality.
  • Devise and execute operational strategies with the goal of improving efficiency, reducing unnecessary resources, and increasing productivity.
  • Take charge of tracking and regulating food and labor expenditures, managing inventory levels, and cutting down on wastage to boost profitability.
  • Build rapport with the neighboring inhabitants to explore potential partnerships.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, keep an eye on what your competitors are doing, and understand the preferences of your customers to identify opportunities for expansion. Share the key priorities, objectives, and successes of the restaurant
  • Transferring metrics skillfully to the team.
  • Be responsible for the successful rollout of new products by coordinating staff training programs, developing marketing campaigns, and conducting product sampling activities.
  • Meet stock level requirements by executing DCP and vendor orders as needed.
  • Meet the budgetary goals and accomplish the financial targets as planned.
  • Engage with Dunkin' and Inspire Brands Field Operations departments as needed for cooperation.
  • Handle all duties of restaurant team members as the situation demands.

Requirements for Restaurant General Manager:

  • A General Manager role in retail, restaurant, or hospitality with a tenure exceeding two years is a prerequisite
  • Reliable transportation and a current driver's license.
  • Knowledgeable in basic computer functions, mathematics, and financial oversight.
  • Capable in the art of articulating thoughts effectively in spoken and written English.
  • Displaying profound analytical acumen and business intuition.
  • Fostering teamwork in a fast-moving setting. Demonstrating punctuality, honesty, and a can-do attitude.
  • Embracing change with a positive attitude and a readiness to grow.
  • Capability in guiding, advancing, and offering constructive criticism.
  • Prioritizing guest needs and demonstrating proficiency in resolving issues and managing conflicts.
  • Skillful time allocation and inspiring leadership are crucial for achieving goals. Preference is given to candidates with a college-level education.
