Job Description of Merchandising Operations Assistant:

Charged with ensuring customer satisfaction by actively engaging with customers, embodying customer service values, and sustaining a hygienic and orderly store atmosphere. Adheres to operational procedures, merchandise standards, and loss prevention practices to safeguard the store's assets. May receive instruction in multiple store departments to provide operational assistance as necessary.

• Respected role models demonstrate effective approaches to customer service excellence with both inside and outside stakeholders
• Cultivating a supportive store climate characterized by integrity, truthfulness, and regard for others
• Follows established operating procedures to ring up customer purchases and returns, including the accurate counting of change back to the customer

• Successfully completes the necessary steps to prepare products for retail display based on company policies and expectations
• Participates in store renewal as needed throughout the day

• Abides by all labor policies, rules, and procedures

• Able to modify working hours to support the operational requirements of the company

• Skilled in hoisting substantial items with or without necessary aid
