Responsibilities of Assistant Food Service Manager:
- Aid the manager in overseeing daily activities and tasks
- Ensuring that every guest is completely satisfied is the primary goal
- Maintain compliance with franchise and brand guidelines by following all established policies and procedures, such as upholding food safety protocols and maintaining cleanliness standards, as well as implementing product promotions and managing cash transactions according to set standards
- Supervise and mentor a committed group according to guidance from leadership; offer input to both the team and superiors
- Ensure team members are strategically assigned tasks for the duration of the shift and maintain clear communication regarding their roles within the crew
- Take part as a team member in tasks related to food preparation, customer assistance, and maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the store
- Take on the responsibilities of running the restaurant when the Store Manager is not available
Requirements of Assistant Food Service Manager:
- To partake in this activity, individuals must be at least 19 years old
- Possession of a legitimate driver's permit is a necessity
- Obtaining a high school diploma or a General Educational Development (GED) certificate are both equivalent credentials reflecting successful completion of secondary education
- Successfully pass a thorough background investigation is required
- Previous experience in Fast-Casual or Restaurant Management for a period ranging from one to three years is required, or an equivalent background in a related field
- Aspiring to join a developing company's team
- Having a can-do mentality, a heightened sense of honesty, a robust professional drive, and the capacity to handle various tasks simultaneously
- Superior abilities in communication to deliver top-notch customer service
- Effective leadership, clear communication, and strong organizational abilities are essential qualities
- Capability to carry weights of up to 50 pounds is necessary
- Should have the capacity to remain upright for prolonged durations
