Responsibilities of Lead Sales Coordinator:

  • Maintaining and effectively communicating expectations for the store team, ensuring adherence to brand, operational, and behavioral standards with accountability.
  • Oversees and supervises essential operational tasks, like opening and closing responsibilities, and the flow of merchandise.
  • Directing team members involved in sales activities, receiving inventory, reconciling cash proceeds, and serving customers. Using weekly schedules to ensure proper floor staffing in accordance with fiscal boundaries. Keeping abreast of current sales and promotions; arranging merchandise presentation following current promotions and guidelines.
  • Adheres to protocols for managing merchandise, showcasing products, preventing theft, and completing tasks as directed by supervisors.
  • Encourages a culture of excellence that drives the sales team to fulfil allocated sales and efficiency objectives, in addition to reaching personal sales milestones.
  • In order to equip the sales team with in-depth product knowledge, it is imperative to provide them with effective training and coaching sessions, whether they are conducting sales online or in a physical store.
  • Offers coaching and training services to aid in achieving fulfillment and enhancing selling capabilities.
  • Promotes and encourages the store employees, advocating for a collaborative goal and exemplifying essential values.
  • Backs an inclusive and cooperative approach to tackling problems.
  • Communicates with store staff and managers to facilitate productive change efforts.
  • Demonstrates a proactive approach to personal growth and readily asks for feedback to enhance leadership abilities.
  • Demonstrates, educates, and promotes adherence to the Ultimate Customer Support Protocol (UCSP) for a seamless holistic customer experience.
  • Various techniques are used to model sales expectations by communicating product knowledge to customers, providing recommendations on merchandise selections, and helping in locating or obtaining items according to customer preferences and desires.
  • Cultivates a dedicated clientele through clienteling and expert wardrobe recommendations.
  • Guarantees rapid response to customer complaints.
  • Keeps up with the latest policies concerning payment methods, coupon acceptance, return protocols, exchange procedures, security standards, and other applicable operational aspects for a seamless and efficient checkout experience.
  • Oversees the team's consistent client engagement through the use of customer data, active involvement in loyalty programs, and promoting customer sign-up.
  • Provides assistance, implements, and delivers follow-up support for all training workshops, seminars, etc.
  • Helps in fostering the development of store staff members; interprets reports on Key Performance Indicators and offers guidance where necessary; provides insights on associate performance for appraisals by Store Manager.
  • Promotes teamwork and engagement by acknowledging and rewarding employees for their outstanding efforts.
  • Checking that the Store Team follows all employment practices and policies consistently.

Qualification of Lead Sales Coordinator:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year retail or sales management experience preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Excellent communication, verbal and written skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company
  • Knowledge of administrative aspects of store operations
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to communicate with customers
  • Regular attendance is essential to this position in order to ensure adequate coverage to meet company objectives. Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays is required

Physical Requirements of Lead Sales Coordinator:

  • The duration of continuous walking or standing throughout an 8-hour shift is commonly estimated to be between 67% and 100%
  • Within an 8-hour work period, about 1-33% of the time is spent on the occasional lifting of objects that are 50 lbs. or less
  • The percentage of time allocated to climbing tasks falls between 34% and 66% over the course of an 8-hour shift
