The Merchandise Operations Coordinator role is a step up from the Coordinator position, where individuals are tasked with adapting their responsibilities to meet the store's requirements. Mainly functioning as Coordinators, Key Carriers occasionally take on the Merchandise Operations Coordinator role, leading the charge in managing all aspects of the store. Applicants must maintain flexible schedules, including availability on evenings and weekends, and exemplify exceptional customer service.

• Cultivating a favorable customer journey for all parties involved
• Advocates for honesty and ethical conduct, safeguarding the confidentiality of information
• Assumes the responsibilities of Manager on Duty, in accordance with the company's policy and procedure
• Verifying that the store team conducts tasks and actions following the store plan and reorders priorities when it is appropriate
• Tackles urgent customer service issues and offers pertinent guidance to staff
• Employing discretion in carrying out customer service policies for enhanced customer gratification
• Manages Associate presence effectively in service zones to uphold a positive customer service atmosphere
• Ensures that all operational procedures are adhered to by associates
• Validates the execution of opening and closing routines in accordance with the company's guidelines
• Engages in accurate and effective communication with management and colleagues when setting and addressing priorities, along with giving updates on progress
• Offers and receives recognition and valuable input
• Provides feedback, acknowledgment, and training to team members
• Partnering with management to tailor training programs for associates to maximize effectiveness
• Ensures that all regulations regarding labor laws, policies, and procedures are upheld
• Boosts the utilization of credit and loyalty schemes
• Supports and joins initiatives geared towards reaching shrink reduction objectives
• Champions safety consciousness and maintains a secure surrounding

Qualification of Merchandise Operations Coordinator:

• Adaptable to working hours that may encompass evenings and weekends
• Showing proficiency in team collaboration by interacting well with peers and managers
• Accomplished in handling appropriately changes in direction or unforeseen events
• Competence in using the standard software, systems, and procedures mandated by the organization
• Awareness of how merchandise flows within retail environments is valuable
