Job Description of Asset Protection Associate:
Opening: Your Occupational Journey
Accomplishes the daily tasks mandated for Asset Protection Associate and safety programs. Nurtures positive relationships with Store Management. Executes apprehensions within the prescribed policies and guidelines. Communicates with store Associates concerning damage and shrink strategies. Detects and resolves incidents of internal and external theft.
- Complies with the set guidelines and policies in place for addressing shoplifting occurrences
- Ensures customers receive courteous, prompt, and knowledgeable support
- Advocates for a culture based on sincerity and uprightness; safeguards private information
- Watches, grasps, and dissuades any dishonest actions from sources outside the organization
- Involves in probes and oversight as instructed
- Verifies that apprehensions are consistent with the theft trends within the store
- Ensures that paperwork is distributed accurately and in a timely fashion
- Sustains suitable verification, displays grasp of law enforcement practices, and contributes to lawful operations in a polished manner when essential, including responding to police requests
- Work alongside Store Management to coordinate and carry out activities aimed at minimizing shrinkage
- Abides by all labor statutes, regulations, and guidelines
- Supports and actively involves in programs targeting the reduction of store shrink
- Supports and motivates associates to make effective use of shrink reduction assets
- Encourages mindfulness towards safety and contributes to fostering a secure atmosphere
Qualification of Asset Protection Associate:
- Proficient in interpersonal communication and making sound judgments
- Basic computer skills
- Key principles of time management proficiency
- The aptitude for investigation and analysis encompasses the skills needed to delve deep into subjects and evaluate findings thoughtfully
- Competence to handle changes in direction or unanticipated situations adeptly
- Remarkable employee, adept at cooperating with coworkers and supervisors to reach goals
- Can adapt availability to meet the fluctuating needs of the business
- Experience in retail or security sectors spanning up to two years
