Responsibilities of In-Store Sales Lead:
- Establishing and maintaining clear standards for performance, behavior, and brand adherence, while ensuring accountability within the store team.
- Administers and monitors primary operational activities including opening and closing tasks, and the progression of merchandise.
- Directing team members involved in sales operations, inventory management, cash handling, and customer assistance. Following weekly schedules to ensure proper floor staffing while adhering to financial parameters. Staying up-to-date on ongoing sales and promotions; arranging merchandise showcases in accordance with current promotions and established guidelines.
- Ensures standards are met in merchandise handling, presentation, security measures, and all other tasks as directed by Management.
- Creates a culture of success that encourages the sales team to achieve set sales and productivity metrics, alongside meeting personal sales benchmarks.
- Training and coaching sessions are necessary to guarantee that the sales team is knowledgeable about all aspects of the products they are selling on the internet and in-store.
- Aids in the identification of fulfillment and sales opportunities by offering training and coaching assistance.
- Inspires and energizes the store employees, championing a mutual vision and setting an example with core values.
- Supports a method that embraces inclusivity and teamwork as key components in finding solutions.
- Works with store teams and managers to lead successful change initiatives.
- Is proactive in seeking chances for personal development and is open to constructive criticism to refine leadership qualities.
- Exhibits, educates, and endorses the Superior Personalized Assistance Framework (SPAF) principles to provide a comprehensive across-the-board service.
- Sales expectations are estimated through the use of various techniques and conveying product knowledge to customers, suggesting merchandise options, or facilitating the location or acquisition of items according to customer needs and preferences.
- Fosters lasting relationships with customers by employing clienteling and wardrobe selection strategies.
- Ensures timely addressing of customer queries.
- Stays informed about the latest procedures for payments, coupons, returns, exchanges, security measures, and other relevant operations to provide a swift and efficient registration process.
- Guarantees ongoing client communication through the effective use of customer records, active involvement in loyalty programs, and promoting customer sign-ups.
- Gives support, puts into action, and ensures follow-through for all educational programs, seminars, and comparable endeavors.
- Facilitates the development of store staff; interprets Key Performance Indicator reports and provides coaching where needed; gives feedback on associate performance for evaluations by Store Manager.
- Boosts associate and team engagement by acknowledging and rewarding employees for their exceptional performance.
- Making sure that the Store Team abides by all employment procedures and rules.
Qualification of In-Store Sales Lead:
- An individual must hold a high school diploma or a comparable certification to be considered
- Having at least one year of experience in retail or sales management is looked upon favorably
- A minimum age requirement of 18 years must be met to be eligible
- Proficient in both verbal and written communication
- Exceptional skills in meeting customer demands with professionalism and efficiency
- Competent in assimilating and utilizing the technological resources provided by the company
- Comprehension of the organizational aspects of store management
- Effective at organizing tasks and capable of multitasking efficiently in a high-energy environment
- Having the ability to converse with customers
- Regular attendance is essential to this position in order to ensure adequate coverage to meet company objectives. Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays is required
Physical Requirements of In-Store Sales Lead:
- Constant Walking/Standing- 67-100% of 8-hour shift
- Occasional Lifting up to 50 lbs.- 1-33% of 8-hour shift
