Job Description of Store Maintenance Technician:

In charge of preserving a clean and orderly store ambiance, prioritizing floor care. Job responsibilities include utilizing floor cleaning equipment like scrubbers and buffers, dry mopping, wet mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and maintaining glass and windows. Ensuring compliance with operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards, and being versatile in working across different store sections to meet business demands.

• Exemplary figures have set the standard for delivering exceptional customer experiences within and outside their organization
• Fosters and embodies a beneficial store culture by practicing honesty, integrity, and respect
• Upholds the established standards for floor care cleanliness, which entails operating and maintaining scrubber and buffer units
• Maintains the standards for organization, cleanliness, and recovery across all areas of the store, including the Sales Floor, Single Queue, Associate Lounge, Backroom, and Restrooms
• Adheres to all organizational guidelines related to Health and Safety by ensuring the refilling of essential products in the Lounge, Restrooms, and Front End
• Trained in different sections of the store like the backroom, front end, and sales floor as part of cross-training efforts
• Helps with and caters to all Front End coverage necessities
• Ensures consistency in adhering to merchandising philosophy and signage standards
• Takes part in and assists with store rejuvenation at various times throughout the day
• Abides by operational and loss prevention controls as per company regulations and policies, emphasizing the importance of reducing shrink
• Ensures accurate and effective information exchange with superiors and coworkers
• Abides by all labor laws, guidelines, and protocols, including those surrounding Associate meal and break period policies
• Taking part in activities that raise safety awareness contributes to ensuring a safe atmosphere
• Tasks assigned as needed

Qualification of Store Maintenance Technician:

• Outstanding proficiency in managing customer interactions
• Capable of adapting work hours to meet the needs of the company
• Proficient in structuring tasks effectively and ensuring meticulous attention to specifics and organizational nuances
• Physical fortitude is essential for carrying out cleaning tasks and operating floor buffing and scrubbing devices
• Capable of multi-tasking
• Competent in addressing changes in orientation or unforeseen events adeptly
• Demonstrates strong communication skills by effectively conveying messages verbally and through written means, while also listening attentively and responding appropriately
• Skilled at hoisting heavy objects with or without appropriate assistance
• Standing out as a colleague requires strong communication and cooperation with both coworkers and supervisors
