Job Description of Retail Cleaning Technician:

Accountable for maintaining a tidy and well-organized store environment, specifically focusing on floor care. Responsibilities include operating cleaning equipment such as scrubbers and buffers, as well as tasks like dust mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning windows. Conforms to operational, product, and loss prevention standards. Skilled in working across various store sections to assist with diverse business requirements.

- Abides by floor care cleanliness regulations, which involve operating and servicing scrubber and buffer devices proficiently
- Oversees compliance with organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards throughout the entire store, including the sales floor, single queue, associate lounge, backroom, and restrooms
- Abides by all organizational standards concerning Health and Safety, including the refilling of essential products in the Lounge, Restrooms, and Front End
- Versatile in store operations across different areas like the backroom, front end, and sales floor
- Offers full support and attends to Front End coverage requirements promptly
- Follows and advocates for the brand's merchandising philosophy and requirements for signage
- Commences and partakes in store revitalization as needed throughout the day
- Adheres to all prescribed operational and loss prevention controls in line with company regulations, emphasizing shrink reduction
- Conveys messages clearly and efficiently to both managers and team members
- Maintains compliance with labor policies and procedures, specifically in relation to employee meal breaks and rest periods
- Active participation in safety awareness programs fosters a culture of safety and security
- Additional tasks as directed
Qualification of Retail Cleaning Technician:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and run floor buffer and scrubber
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Strong communication skills: verbal and written. Listens and responds appropriately
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Standout colleague, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Retail customer experience preferred
