Job Summary of Store Co-Manager:

The Store Co-Manager duties involve supporting the Store Manager in advancing a sales climate that prioritizes customer satisfaction and product excellence, ensuring that the organization's values and guiding principles are integrated into all store activities. This comprises overseeing sales procedures, safeguarding resources, and handling HR responsibilities to secure exceptional customer service and optimal financial performance. Responsibilities of Store Co-Manager:

  • Examines sales reports and KPIs to ascertain the business's demands; Collaborates with the Store Manager to execute retail business and sales strategies within the store.
  • Establishes and articulates transparent anticipations, holding the store team and themselves accountable for meeting all brand, performance, and behavior requirements.
  • Administers the financial resources dedicated to payroll and supplies.
  • Coordinates and supervises basic operational activities, including organizing schedules, implementing shrink audits to achieve objectives, conducting inventory counts, executing opening and closing tasks, auditing timesheets, ensuring payroll accuracy, and monitoring merchandise flow processes.
  • Conducts financial duties with precision and adherence to policies, encompassing the effective handling of cash transactions, execution of price adjustments, and oversight of product operations; ensures the precise and policy-compliant closure of all register activities.
  • Guarantees compliance with all pertinent regulations, safeguards against losses, operational methods, and checks; administers training for associates to uphold proper procedures.
  • Responsible for overseeing the execution of operational processes, which involve receiving and dispatching inventory, ensuring proper levels of merchandise on the sales floor, and conducting physical inventory counts.
  • Keeps the visual representation, order, and maintenance of the Brand in line with its image.
  • Establishes a high-performance ethos, motivating the sales team to achieve their set sales and productivity benchmarks.
  • Ensuring that the selling team is well-versed in all product details is crucial through coaching and training sessions.
  • Helps individuals with locating satisfaction and maximizing sales potential through supportive guidance.
  • Supports and uplifts the store team through cultivating a unified vision and embodying core values.
  • Fosters an environment of inclusivity and cooperation in addressing problems.
  • Works with store employees and the Store Manager to spearhead beneficial changes.
  • Is eager to explore personal growth opportunities and readily asks for feedback to strengthen leadership capabilities.
  • Embodies, imparts, and supports the Most Exceptional Client Support (MECS) values and criteria, providing a consistent all-encompassing customer journey.
  • Utilizes a range of approaches to anticipate sales goals and educates customers on product specifics. Provides guidance on selecting merchandise or aids in identifying and acquiring products that align with customer needs and preferences.
  • Ensures timely resolution of customer problems.
  • Keeps abreast of the latest policies concerning payments, coupon acceptance, returns, exchanges, security practices, and other operational functions to ensure a swift and proficient checkout experience for customers.
  • Guarantees the team stays in touch with clients consistently by utilizing the customer book, actively participating in rewards programs, and promoting customer registration.
  • Offers assistance in building, hiring, and nurturing a high achiever team.
  • Backs up, enforces, and offers continued support for all training courses, workshops, etc.
  • Appraises and supports the store team in improving their performance.
  • Partners with the SM to tackle human resources problems in a timely and efficient way.
  • Enhances employee and team commitment by acknowledging and compensating staff for exceptional job performance.
  • Monitors compliance with employment practices and policies by the store team.

Qualification of Store Co-Manager:

  • Possession of a high school diploma or an alternative qualification is obligatory
  • Experience in retail management exceeding two years is the preferred qualification
  • In order to take part in this event, participants must be of legal age, which is 18 years or older
  • Strong communication skills in both verbal and written forms
  • Skilled in acquiring or adapting to the technological resources provided by the company
  • Showcased strong customer service skills supported by measurable achievements in sales and leading teams
  • Possesses excellent organizational capabilities and can efficiently manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Displaying effective leadership qualities, adeptness in instructing, and proficiency in enhancing group cohesion
  • Knowledge of the logistical components involved in store administration
  • Skilled in maintaining communication with both customers and staff
  • This role necessitates regular attendance to uphold appropriate staffing levels in accordance with the company's goals. Flexibility in work hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is an essential requirement for this position

Physical Requirements of Store Co-Manager:

  • Constant Walking/Standing- 67-100% of 8-hour shift
  • Occasional Lifting up to 50 lbs.- 1-33% of 8-hour shift
  • Frequent Climbing- 34%-66% of 8-hour shift
