Job Summary of Assistant Executive Manager:

The main duty of this position is to aid the Assistant Executive Manager in running the restaurant smoothly and overseeing the staff in their absence. The Assistant Executive Manager is tasked with supervising and mentoring Restaurant Team Members while working with the management team to ensure that the Company and Brand operational protocols are met to guarantee guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities of Assistant Executive Manager:

  • Offers outstanding customer assistance in a quick and amiable way; instructs and rectifies the team when necessary
  • Carries out additional interviews for team members and shift leads
  • Keeps the restaurant environment tidy through cleaning activities and general housekeeping tasks. Allocates shift responsibilities to staff members and checks in later to confirm tasks are finished
  • Supervises the team to ensure that all food items are cooked and served in compliance with the regulations set by the Brand, Company, and health department. Trains team members on adhering to guidelines for food preparation and managing production
  • Shares relevant information with team members and aids in the onboarding process for new products
  • In charge of delivering campaign resources as per requirements
  • Guarantees the adherence to standards for product quality, food safety, and operations
  • Checks and maintains the correctness of all cash, sales, and inventory control records during the shift, and finalizes necessary paperwork at the end of the day while conducting counts as necessary
  • When the RM is not available, it falls to the RAM to manage the completion of various administrative responsibilities such as daily, weekly, and end-of-period paperwork, inventory audits, cash reconciliations, placing truck orders, and any other relevant duties as needed
  • Complies with all legal requirements and safety standards to create a secure atmosphere for both staff and guests
  • Compiles detailed reports for all occurrences within the prescribed 5-minute rule guidelines
  • Works alongside the RM to take charge and ensure that all financial and operational goals are achieved, ultimately driving the restaurant towards profitability

Qualification of Assistant Executive Manager:

  • Mandatory full-time presence; required to be present during all operational hours and for one hour before opening and after closing
  • A valid Driver's License from the state is a must
