Qualification of Retail Support Staff:

• Being available during evenings and weekends is a requirement, indicating the need for flexibility.
• The duration of work hours is classified as part-time and can fluctuate according to the demands of the business.
• Possession of or actively working towards obtaining a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
• Ideally, candidates will have spent three to six months in a retail setting.
• Fundamental numerical, language, and communication proficiencies are a prerequisite.
• It is essential to be 16 years of age or older.
• While on the job, the employee must communicate through speech or hearing on a regular basis. Walking, standing, using hands for tasks, and extending arms will be frequently required. Sitting, climbing, balancing, and stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and utilizing a Brannock device may be occasional requirements for the employee.
• As part of the job description, the employee must often lift and shift items weighing up to 25 pounds and occasionally handle items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• As part of this job, individuals must demonstrate specific visual capabilities, including the ability to see clearly up close and at a distance, distinguish colors accurately, maintain good peripheral vision, and adjust focus accordingly.
