Responsibilities of Retail Team Member:
- Achieves company sales targets by utilizing sales techniques and communicating product information to customers; recommends product selections or helps locate merchandise based on customer needs and preferences.
- Stays updated on sales and promotional activities, as well as ensuring adherence to pricing and visual standards.
- Enforces standards in the handling of stock, its display, prevention of theft, and all other responsibilities directed by Management.
- Participates in visual directives including monthly store sets and zone maintenance.
- Exemplifies and supports the principles and standards of the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS), promoting a harmonized experience across different channels.
- Pledges to promptly address and resolve customer issues.
- Remains knowledgeable about the latest rules concerning payments, coupon acceptance, returns, exchanges, security practices, and other relevant aspects to deliver a swift and efficient register service.
- Reinforces purchasing choices at the point of purchase and meets additional goals like enhancing gift card sales.
- Signs up members for a loyalty program that provides rewards.
- Building and preserving a loyal customer following through the use of clienteling approaches and tailored wardrobe suggestions.
- Is familiar with the current offerings of product fits and styles in-store as well as online.
- Supports consistent client communication by employing a customer log to keep records organized.
- Assists in restocking endeavors to uphold store abundance and fullness.
- Aids in reaching contentment.
- Supports in implementing visual instructions like adjusting floor layouts, updating window displays, creating visual presentations, and placing signage following given directives.
- Support in preserving the cleanliness and tidiness of the boutique
- Promotes an encompassing, cooperative method for tackling issues.
- Is keen on personal growth opportunities and readily invites feedback from others.
Qualification of Retail Team Member:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Retail or sales experience preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Able to communicate with customers, Associates, and Management
- Regular attendance is essential to this position to ensure adequate coverage to meet company objectives. Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays is required
Physical Requirements of Retail Team Member:
- The requirement to walk or stand for extended periods constitutes a significant portion, varying from 67% to 100% of an 8-hour shift
- Employees may need to lift up to 50 pounds intermittently, which usually amounts to 1-33% of their working hours in an 8-hour shift
- Between 34% and 66% of an 8-hour work shift is spent engaging in frequent climbing tasks
