Assistant Retail Manager

Job Description of Assistant Retail Manager:

The Assistant Retail Manager aids the Store Manager in supervising all store activities to guarantee exceptional customer service, smooth operations, and reaching sales and profit targets. This managerial position includes supervising employees, upholding store regulations, and helping with office duties.

Provide support to the Store Manager as required in the following areas:

• Hire, conduct interviews, and choose staff members.
• Supervision involves overseeing, guiding, establishing objectives, and assigning responsibilities based on personal discretion.
• Organize continuous training sessions and maintain regular communication with all staff members in your department.
• Foster the expansion of your organization by nurturing the advancement of employees with high potential.
• Assess, mentor, incentivize, acknowledge staff members, and commemorate achievements.
• Manage conflicts and advise staff members in need of disciplinary measures, which may lead to their dismissal.
• Supervise all aspects of store management such as overseeing the payroll procedures, sales performance, participation, growth, and staff retention.
• Attain all corporate operation and sales targets and aims, such as revenue, financial plan, gross margin, efficiency, marketing/display, cost assessments/modifications, special events/competitions, etc. Also, supervise weekly sales and workforce forecasts.
• Establishing connections, informing our clients, and generating revenue.
• Keep an eye on and provide updates about competing actions.
• Act as a liaison between the organization and governmental representatives, agencies, and journalists.
• Undertake additional tasks as required.
• Demonstrating proficiency in utilizing machinery at a specific site in adherence to recommended procedures.
• Scan or ring up each item with precision.
• Maintaining and tidying both the inside and outside areas of the structure.
• Ensure the precise management and protection of all designated finances, assets, and related materials.
• Follow all the rules and guidelines established by the company as well as comply with all governmental regulations.
• Comply with all Company guidelines for loss prevention such as managing waste and utilities, handling damaged items, and reporting theft incidents accordingly.

Requirements of Assistant Retail Manager:
