Job Description of Cleaning Crew Member:

In charge of maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store area with a special emphasis on floor maintenance responsibilities. Tasks encompass using cleaning machinery like scrubbers and buffers, as well as executing duties such as dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot-cleaning glass and windows. Adheres strictly to operational procedures, merchandise standards, and loss prevention guidelines. Skilled in working across various store departments to provide comprehensive support to the store's operations.

• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers
• Supports and embodies a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect
• Maintains all floor care cleanliness standards including the maintenance and operation of the scrubber and buffer
• Maintains all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the entire store, e.g. Sales Floor, Single Queue, Associate Lounge, Backroom and Restrooms
• Adheres to all company policies concerning Health and Safety (includes the refilling of all essential items in the Lounge, Restrooms and Front End)
• Cross-trained in other areas of the store (Backroom, Front End, Sales Floor, etc.)
• Supports and responds to all Front End coverage needs
• Adheres and upholds merchandising philosophy and signage standards
• Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed throughout the day
• Adheres to all operational and loss prevention controls in accordance with company guidelines and policies including shrink reduction
• Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates
• Adheres to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, including Associate meal and break period policies
• Participates in safety awareness maintains a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned

Qualification of Cleaning Crew Member:

• Superior skills in providing service to customers
• Flexible availability to meet the operational requirements of the business
• Proficient in managing tasks systematically while paying close attention to particulars
• Physical resilience needed to accomplish cleaning tasks and operate floor buffing and scrubbing machinery effectively
• Capable of multi-tasking
• Proficient in responding effectively to changes in trajectory or unplanned occurrences
• Demonstrates strong communication abilities in both verbal and written formats. Shows a talent for attentive listening and offering relevant replies
• Competent in raising heavy loads whether assistance is provided or not
• Stellar professional, adept at working harmoniously with coworkers and supervisors
• Customers tend to lean towards a particular type of experience when shopping at retail stores
