Job Summary of Mobile Sales Consultant:

Mobile Sales Consultant work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They're brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They continuously work to build expertise in uncovering our customers' needs and have a passion to educate, demonstrate and recommend device and service solutions. This role is a learning role, where new associates are working with their team and proactively building skills and proficiencies, in preparation for the next level up as a Mobile Expert.As a Mobile Sales Consultant, you will be required to successfully complete new employee training.

Responsibilities of Mobile Sales Consultant:

  • Strengthening skills in attending to customers and boosting sales, along with providing exceptional customer service and building loyalty by:
  • Helping customers seamlessly resume their shopping journey from the point where they paused, be it online, through Customer Support channels, or at a physical store.
  • Providing customized in-store demonstrations of the latest technology products to meet the distinct needs of every customer.
  • Through side-by-side selling strategies, we endeavor to offer individualized solutions that surpass traditional device and service plans, ensuring customers stay connected to their preferred social circles and lifestyle choices with diverse accessories and state-of-the-art IoT products.
  • Managing service and sales needs with composure, honesty, and empathy.
  • Attains proficiency and consistently deploys digital technologies in interactions and onboarding to actively illustrate:
  • The extensive coverage we provide in the neighborhood aims to deliver a rapid LTE network to our customers
  • Why T-Mobile plans and services will let our customers live unlimited, feel the love, stay connected and go further.
  • Achieves training completion for the T-Mobile in-store setting, gaining expertise in updated capabilities, procedural frameworks, system functionality, and reference material utilization.
  • Utilizes their on-duty time wisely by engaging in information exchanges with customers and keeping up-to-date on the latest advancements in wireless and technology.
  • Forges partnerships with T-Mobile employees across diverse channels, including business operations and customer service teams:
  • Co-own the customer experience and solve problems to establish a seamless and efficient service environment.
  • Proficiently detect and pass on potential leads for small-scale enterprises.
  • Promote collaborative projects and activities that encourage a sense of unity and camaraderie among support team members

Qualification of Mobile Sales Consultant:

  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, Retail environment preferred
  • Passionate customer advocate with the desire to be yourself when connecting and having fun doing it!
  • Competitive drive and proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders, learning and sharing ideas, while serving customers and providing resolutions to issues. 
  • Effective at balancing customer needs and performance goals.
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
