Responsibilities of In-Store Assistant:

• You will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager with the oversight of the Stationstore operations.
• Your role will involve hiring, supervising, and collaborating with staff to accomplish daily tasks, overseeing financial transactions, and organizing merchandise displays.
• Your task is to ensure that our high standards are maintained and to provide fast and welcoming service to our customers.
• Demonstrate regular and anticipated attendance at the designated location.
• You will need to adhere to the high benchmark that has been set by our food program.
• Your exemplary customer-focused attitude influences your team to prioritize customer care.
• You possess a demeanor that embodies urgency, patience, and leadership skills.

Qualification of In-Store Assistant:

• Retail experience
• Track record of successfully supervising teams or personnel
• Recruiting/hiring/interviewing skills
• Experience handling food
• High School/College Degree(s)

Physical Requirements of In-Store Assistant:

• The capacity to endure standing and/or walking for up to 8 hours
• Transport or lift objects weighing up to 30 pounds from the ground to overhead within a 30-minute time frame per shift
• At times, transfer and lift loads of up to 60 pounds to waist level
• Execute movements with your arms that involve applying a force of 20 pounds while pushing or pulling
• Follow through with bending at the waist and sporadic twisting for a maximum of one hour per shift
• Complete manual work by manipulating, seizing, and managing objects using the hands. This type of activity requires coordination between the eyes and hands, and may include climbing a ladder to store, retrieve materials or position and remove signs
