Job Description of Retail Sales Consultant:

Focus on delivering top-notch customer satisfaction through meaningful interactions, embracing customer experience philosophy, and upholding store cleanliness standards.

• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers
• Supports and embodies a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer according to established operating procedures
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and follows established merchandising procedures and standards
• Accurately processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards
• Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed throughout the day
• Maintains all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participates in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
• Adheres to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs
• Participates in safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned

Qualification of Retail Sales Consultant:

• Has a strong grasp of customer service techniques and practices
• Proficient in changing the schedule as required to meet business demands
• Proficient in both communication and organization, emphasizing a high level of detail orientation
• Capable of multi-tasking
• Being capable of adapting skillfully to deviations in path or unanticipated scenarios
• Adept at carrying hefty objects with or without necessary modifications
• Shows adeptness in partnering with peers and supervisors for successful outcomes
• Shoppers show a preference for the retail customer experience
