Job Description of Product Coordinator:

In charge of executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring team members work together efficiently and harmoniously. Focuses on creating a superior customer experience by actively interacting with all patrons and keeping the store clean and organized. Serves as a role model for exceptional customer service.
- Promotes a beneficial customer service atmosphere for all customer types
- Advocates for transparency and trustworthiness, upholding the confidentiality of privileged details
- Supervises the truck delivery schedule, ensuring the prompt transfer of goods for presentation in the store
- Instructs and mentors associates on the established protocols for merchandising and processing
- Checks that items are securely tagged, hung, coded, and fastened
- Works closely with the on-duty coordinator to ensure the efficient movement of goods to the sales area
- Sees to it that employees perform tasks and activities in accordance with the store's plan, arranging priorities as needed
- Supervises the productivity of the team and provides coaching interventions as appropriate
- Coordinates and revolves stored inventory to ensure convenient replenishment
- Keeps in line with the store's merchandising philosophy and adheres to signage standards
- Maintains the organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards in the backroom area
- Enforcing compliance with recycling standards and, where applicable, hazardous waste measures
- Demonstrates skillful communication with supervisors and colleagues in the process of setting and addressing priorities, including providing timely progress updates
- Distributes and accepts recognition and productive feedback
- Partners with management to devise strategies for enhancing the effectiveness of associate training
- Ensures that all employees abide by labor laws, policies, and operational protocols
- Backs the promotion of credit and loyalty incentives
- Actively supports and engages in store shrink reduction goals and associated programs to enhance overall effectiveness
- Urges for safety awareness and upholds a secure environment

Qualification of Product Coordinator:
- Flexible availability to work during non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends
- Advanced communication and organizational aptitude combined with a sharp focus on specifics
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Adept at reacting fittingly to changes in course or unexpected occurrences
- Engaging in cooperative efforts with peers and managers to enhance productivity
- Skilled in lifting substantial items with or without appropriate accommodations
- Effective in guiding and developing others
- One year of retail experience combined with six months of leading a team
