Job Description of Asset Protection Agent:

Carries out the daily requirements for Asset Protection Agent and safety measures. Maintains positive connections with Store Management. Performs apprehensions within specified policies and guidelines. Collaborates with store Associates to address damage and shrink initiatives. Detects and resolves both internal and external theft cases.

• Adheres to the recognized standards and measures in place for addressing shoplifting behavior
• Provides clients with courteous, well-informed, and efficient assistance
• Endorses a culture that prioritizes honesty and ethical standards; safeguards confidentiality
• Observes, comprehends, and discourages any dishonest behaviors originating from external sources
• Involves in inquiries and monitoring as designated
• Ensures that apprehensions are consistent with the theft activity patterns within the store
• Ensures precise and prompt distribution of completed paperwork
• Supports relevant proof, illustrates understanding of law enforcement practices, and partakes in legal activities in a professional manner when necessary (like responding to police calls)
• Coordinate and fulfill shrink-related duties in collaboration with Store Management
• Observes and follows all labor laws, policies, and procedures accordingly
• Supports and actively contributes to programs designed to minimize store shrinkage
• Supports the implementation of strategies to encourage associates to utilize resources that minimize shrinkage
• Supports the promotion of safety awareness while ensuring the maintenance of a secure ambiance

Qualification of Asset Protection Agent:

• Superior aptitude for conveying ideas effectively and making wise judgments
• Basic computer skills
• Key strategies for optimizing time usage
• The proficiency in analytical capabilities encompasses the talent for effectively breaking down complex information and drawing insightful conclusions
• Competence in adjusting promptly to changes in course or unexpected scenarios
• Remarkable colleague who demonstrates strong teamwork skills while working with coworkers and supervisors to fulfill responsibilities
• Can modify schedule flexibility to align with the needs of the business
• Entry-level experience in retail or security, spanning up to two years
