Job Summary of Sales Support Associate:
The Sales Support Associate is responsible for supporting a customer and product-focused sales culture where our core principles are at the forefront of all store operations. This is achieved through performing various sales operations functions, including merchandise handling, stock processing, and stockroom organization. Responsibilities of Sales Support Associate:
- Supervises merchandise processing by ensuring items are stored in the right manner, tagged accurately, and easily accessible for restocking on the sales floor, modifies merchandise setups to optimize storage space.
- Makes sure that new products are represented and merchandised in a timely and effective manner.
- Maintains precise records of incoming shipments by entering data into the system, verifies merchandise invoices against received goods where relevant. Ensures timely completion of store-to-store transfers and attending to Locate requests efficiently.
- Oversees the prompt receipt and proper processing of visual package materials, props, and signage, and ensures the correct storage of stockroom hardware, hangers, and sign holders.
- Contributes to pricing fluctuations and markdown adjustments.
- Making store management aware of cash supply necessities.
- Provides support in executing visual directives, such as floor arrangements, window transformations, visual displays, and signage placements, as per the given instructions.
- Supports in maintaining a clean and organized boutique atmosphere
- Epitomizes, endorses, and drives the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and benchmarks, guaranteeing a consistent omni-channel interaction
- Advocates for an all-encompassing and joint effort in problem solving
- Shows a strong initiative in pursuing opportunities for personal growth and actively seeks feedback
Qualification of Sales Support Associate:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous stock or cashier experience preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company
- Must be able to work the majority of the shift standing
- Ability to work quickly and within strict timelines
- Ability to demonstrate teamwork
- Exposure to visual merchandising and product placement techniques desired
- Communicate with customers, Associates, and Management; wear / communicate with headset
- Regular attendance is essential to this position in order to ensure adequate coverage to meet company objectives. Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
Physical Requirements of Sales Support Associate:
- Constant Walking/Standing- 67-100% of 8-hour shift
- Lifting weights up to 50 pounds is a task that individuals will perform periodically, accounting for between 1% and 33% of their time during the 8-hour shift
- Frequent Going Up - Accounts for 34% to 66% of the 8-hour working hours
