Qualification of Retail Shop Assistant:

• Including evenings and weekends in availability shows the required flexibility.
• The hours are part-time and will be scheduled based on the needs of the business.
• It is mandatory to have or be in the process of obtaining a high school diploma or GED.
• Having three to six months of retail experience is a valuable asset.
• Proficient in elementary mathematics, reading, and verbal interaction capabilities.
• Entry is restricted to those aged 16 and above.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and operate a Brannock device.
• As part of the job description, the employee must often lift and shift items weighing up to 25 pounds and occasionally handle items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• The role necessitates specific vision skills like clear vision at varying distances, accurate color recognition, broad peripheral vision, and the capacity to refocus vision as needed.
