Job Description of Merchandise Process Coordinator:

A Merchandise Process Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the presentation and availability of merchandise in a retail store.Responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience proven by engaging and interacting with all customers, embodying customer experience principles and philosophy, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Adheres to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. May be cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store in order to support the needs of the business.

• Role models in customer experience showcase best practices for engaging effectively with both internal and external customers
• Promotes and exemplifies a favorable store ethos through candor, honor, and admiration
• Conducts transactions for customers in a precise manner and follows the established procedures for processing returns and sales
• Advances the promotion of credit and loyalty strategies
• Sustains the merchandising philosophy while following established procedures and standards
• Skillfully readies and arranges merchandise for the retail floor based on company procedures and guidelines in a precise manner
• Participates in store refurbishment as needed at various times during the day
• Follows protocols for maintaining organization, cleanliness, and tidiness on the sales floor and contributes to the overall cleanliness of the store
• Offers and accepts acknowledgment and valuable feedback
• Abides by all labor legislations, rules, and protocols
• Collaborates with teams to support the achievement of store shrink reduction goals and initiatives
• Contributes to safety awareness efforts and upholds a safe environment
• Miscellaneous assignments

Qualification of Merchandise Process Coordinator:

• Displays a high level of proficiency in attending to customer requirements satisfactorily
• Capable of altering work hours as needed to support the business operations
• Displays adeptness in communication and organization, with a strong emphasis on detail-oriented tasks
• Capable of multi-tasking
• Proficient in responding fittingly to deviations in direction or unexpected scenarios
• Having the capacity to lift substantial items with or without appropriate accommodations
• Shows proficiency in working alongside peers and superiors
• The retail customer experience is the favored option for consumers when it comes to shopping
