Job Description of Retail Cleaning Associate:

Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the store premises, specifically emphasizing floor maintenance tasks. Duties encompass operating equipment such as scrubbers and buffers, as well as performing tasks like dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning glass and windows as needed. Complies with operational protocols, merchandise standards, and measures to prevent losses. Versatile in skills and prepared to assist various store departments as needed.

• Ensures adherence to all cleanliness protocols for floor maintenance, including operating and upkeeping the scrubber and buffer equipment
• Ensures that the entire store, including the sales floor, single queue, associate lounge, backroom, and restrooms, adheres to organizational, cleanliness, and recovery guidelines
• Complies with all company regulations related to Health and Safety, which involves replenishing necessary supplies in the Lounge, Bathrooms, and Front End areas
• Proficient in various sections of the store such as Backroom, Front End, and Sales Floor due to cross-training
• Offers assistance and addresses all requirements for Front End coverage
• Ensures compliance with the principles and guidelines of the merchandising philosophy and signage standards
• Engages in and joins the process of store restoration as required during the day
• Complies with operational and loss prevention protocols as outlined by company regulations to minimize shrinkage
• Maintains clear and efficient communication channels with both managers and team members
• Complies with all regulations and guidelines concerning labor laws, policies, and protocols, which also encompass rules pertaining to meal breaks for employees
• Engages in promoting safety awareness to uphold a secure setting
