Job Description of Merchandising Support Clerk:

Responsible for cultivating a positive customer experience by engaging with customers, embodying principles of exceptional service, and upholding store cleanliness. Adheres to operational procedures, merchandising guidelines, and loss prevention measures to protect the store's assets. May undergo training to perform different store roles depending on business demands.

• Inspirational leaders establish customer experience norms for interactions with both internal team members and external customers
• Encouraging a positive store culture by exemplifying honesty, integrity, and respect towards others
• Performs transaction processing for customer purchases and returns accurately, adhering to established operating procedures for giving change back
• Endorses credit and loyalty campaigns
• Maintains and enforces the merchandising ideology while adhering to the prescribed merchandising processes and regulations
• Precisely follows company protocols and standards to process and arrange merchandise appropriately for sales
• Begins and engages in store recovery as necessary throughout the day
• Plays a part in ensuring that the sales floor meets all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery requirements and aids in keeping the entire store tidy
• Gives and accepts acknowledgment and constructive input
• Conforms to all labor legislation, policies, and guidelines
• Backs and engages in store shrink reduction objectives and related programs
• Engages in safety advocacy and upholds a secure atmosphere
• Additional assignments as determined

• Demonstrates outstanding abilities in customer service
• Capable of adapting availability to accommodate the requirements of the business
• Demonstrates proficient communication and organizational abilities while maintaining a keen focus on details
• Capable of multi-tasking
• Capable of reacting suitably to shifts in course or unforeseen circumstances
• Able to lift substantial items with or without necessary adjustments
• Collaborates efficiently with colleagues and managers
